The Lifetime Achievement Award (LAA) recognizes distinguished members of the association who represent ‘models of excellence’ to the International Indian Statistical Association (IISA) members.

Given at the 35th New England Statistics Symposium, the award recognizes outstanding, long-term contributions to the field of statistics.

Professor Kun Chen was elected as a 2022 Fellow of the American Statistical Association, a designation that has been a significant honor for nearly 100 years.

Profesor Yan was recognized for demonstrating distinction in research in statistics or probability or has demonstrated leadership that has profoundly influenced the field.

Professor Zou was recognized for excellence in research and creativity for early-career faculty members.
