4865. Deep Learning
3.00 credits
Prerequisites: STAT 2255, STAT 3445, and STAT 4255; or instructor consent. Not open for credit to students who have passed STAT 4195 when offered as "Deep Learning."
Grading Basis: Graded
Foundations of modern deep learning including the statistical learning framework, optimization and gradient descent, and various learning algorithms such as multi-layer perceptrons, convolutional neural networks, transformers, and more.
