4835. Causal Inference

3.00 credits

Prerequisites: STAT 3445 or instructor consent. Recommend Preparation: Experience with R. Not open for credit to students who have passed STAT 5095 when offered as "Casual Inference."

Grading Basis: Graded

Introduction to causal inference, the science of drawing conclusions about cause-and-effect relationships from data. Topics include potential outcomes, randomized trials, causal graphical models, observational studies, instrumental variables, mediation and interference.
