New England Statistics Symposium

The New England Statistics Symposium (NESS) is the annual conference of the New England Statistical Society, of which the UConn Department of Statistics is a founding member. It features short courses, break-out groups, poster sessions, and keynote addresses spread over two days. In recent years, the conference added a student paper competition and various other sponsored awards.

The conference is hosted at the University of Connecticut every other year. In off-years, it is hosted at universities throughout the New England region.
