We would like to let you know that effective Jan 1, 2024, Nalini Ravishanker has taken over from Fabrizio Ruggeri as EIC of the journal Applied Stochastic Models in Business and Industry (ASMBI).
Applied Stochastic Models in Business and Industry is a peer-reviewed journal at the interface of stochastic modelling, data analysis and their applications in business, finance, insurance, management and production. As the official journal of the International Society for Business and Industrial Statistics, our articles are mathematically rigorous, featuring innovative stochastic modelling and sound applications. We welcome technical and practical submissions on quality control, managerial processes, and supply chains and inventories.
New Section: Data Science in Business and Industry
Data science is a very strong, visible, and publicly recognized label for problem-solving using ever-growing, large datasets and new data sources. The analysis and interpretation of these kinds of data include the adaptation of existing methods and development of novel statistical methods for specific data science applications. Applied Stochastic Models in Business and Industry (ASMBI) now welcomes submissions to a new section of the journal, “Data Science in Business and Industry.” Papers should be innovative and address relevant problems in business and industry in the longstanding tradition of the journal.
